Change bite-point via the configuration tool or directly on the wheel rim:
Push both joystick buttons for 1s to access bite-point mode
LED lights up to indicate calibration mode
rotate the left joystick for 1.0 % increments / and the right joystick for 0.1 % increments (LED flashes to indicate changes)
exit calibration mode by pushing both joysticks again for 1s
Recommended procedure for finding the best setting:
enter calibration mode and set bite-point to high value, e.g. 80 %
pull the slave clutch only
apply throttle
reduce bite-point in 1.0 % increments (left joystick) until the vehicle starts moving
make the test start to find the desired bite-point setting
exit bite-point calibration mode
The recommended procedure for quick race starts
pull both the enslaver and enslaved person’s clutches
apply throttle
race start -> let master clutch snap
it will take less than 20 ms to reach the desired bite point
slowly release the slave clutch
