The MOTION-LOCK Switch is a hardware switch that, when connected to the device’s MOTION-LOCK Sub-System, allows the user to instantly stop the operation of all connected devices. It is included as standard equipment with all motion platforms and is available as an optional accessory for cases where additional user control is desired.

The MOTION-LOCK Switch is a dual-state button that is easy to engage but difficult to release accidentally. It is built on professional-grade components (IEC 60947-5-1, VDE 0660) that ensure longevity, ease of operation, and reliability. The switch is the only component of the MOTION-LOCK Sub-System that the user interacts with.
The MOTION-LOCK Sub-System itself is an advanced dual-channel module that utilizes a combination of hardware and software, not only to cease device operation at the user’s request but also to constantly monitor the state of the MOTION-LOCK wiring to detect any unconnected, damaged, or incorrectly connected wires.
Depending on application-specific requirements, the MOTION-LOCK Sub-System allows multiple compatible devices to be connected together in a single chain and controlled by a single MOTION-LOCK Switch. The connection utilizes an up-link/down-link approach, which allows virtually unlimited devices to be connected without compromising the performance and reliability of the MOTION-LOCK Sub-System.
Alternatively, independent circuits can be created, enabling the motion platform, QS-DD-20, and QS-BT1 to be stopped fully independently. This approach allows a sim-racer to quickly control which components should be enabled during each racing session.
