The SIMAGIC P-Active Pedal introduces servo-driven active feedback to the SIMAGIC pedal ecosystem, combining high-resolution force sensing with dynamically adjustable pedal resistance and real-time telemetry feedback.

Unlike a conventional load-cell or hydraulic sim racing pedal, the P-Active doesn’t simply measure how hard you press. Its active servo system can dynamically control pedal resistance and movement, allowing the pedal to reproduce different brake, throttle and clutch characteristics through software.

ABS activation, wheel slip, RPM and gear changes can be communicated directly through the pedal, giving you physical feedback under your foot rather than relying solely on visual or audio cues.

A dual-sensor 250kg load-cell system, 16-bit resolution and up to 180kg of software-configurable force provide the precision required for serious sim racing, while compatibility with existing SIMAGIC pedal platforms makes it possible to start with a single active brake and expand your setup later.

What Is an Active Sim Racing Pedal?

A conventional sim racing brake uses springs, elastomers or hydraulics to create a fixed mechanical pedal feel. A load cell then measures the force you apply.

The SIMAGIC P-Active adds an electronically controlled servo system to this process.

Rather than relying entirely on fixed mechanical resistance, the pedal can dynamically alter its behaviour through software. This allows you to configure pedal travel, force and response for different cars while also producing physical feedback based on live simulator telemetry.

For example, the pedal can communicate events such as ABS activation or wheel slip directly through your foot.

This makes an active pedal both an input device and a feedback device, creating a much closer relationship between what the simulated car is doing and what you physically feel at the pedals.
